Before joining Little Learners, Filzah went to two other Day cares. However she did not settle down easily. However at Little learners She just took a day to settle down.
I believe the various ethnicities and small group of children makes it easier for settling down. The centre feels homely and cozy which again, for Filzah was inviting. As the teachers are ethnic and because it has a homely feeling, it works well for us, we could connect easily on various levels. The teachers have created online groups (In whats app) to keep the parents included in their child's day at kindy.

My kids are happy and are maturing in their reasoning and knowledge. Their communication skills have been amazing since they came to the Happy Little Learners."

We have two daughters, Donna (2 years old) and Rosajo (7 months old) enrolled in Happy Little Learners, and our whole family are so very happy for this.
There is so much that we love about the Centre. Everyday I see all tamariki happy, engaged, and cared for with love. There is a strong emphasis on identity where culture is encouraged and explored. Te reo is spoken everyday with beautiful karakia before eating kai, and sung in waiata. Parents are asked to come in and share aspects of their culture through dress, kai, dance or anyway that is important to them. I have seen how the tamariki are taught how to play, share, give space, speak honestly and kindly.
The Center is truly a second home and our whānau now, and I see how much my children thrive from being there. I see huge development in Donna's language, numeracy, literacy, problem solving, empathy, eating, expression, play, imagination, team work...everything!! This is testament to the wonderful mahi and aroha of all kaiako and the fabulous tamariki.
